David Munoz Debuts "Love is Like a Crystal"

David Munoz is a singer and songwriter with an impressive professional pedigree. Trained as vocalist by legendary singer Don Ciccone (The Four Seasons), David has released a handful of singles over the past decade. In that time his songs have charted around the world. His most popular track to date is “Love is Like a Crystal,” a song that peaked at #1 on the South African Latin charts.

“Love is Like a Crystal” opens with the sound of thunder claps and rain, setting the stage for the track’s cinematic theme. A smooth Spanish guitar introduces the singer. David enters the mix telling a cryptic narrative of a meeting with a magical gypsy. The track rides on a funky and rhythmic Latin beat. A shuffling bass and drum groove is buoyed by conga drums and shakers as the theatrical production of strings and guitars paint a lush tapestry of sound. Meanwhile Munoz and a soulful female vocalist deliver their magical tale of love and mysticism. It’s a great sound featuring some excellent performances from Munoz and the entire band.

Check out “Love is Like a Crystal” below. You can also hear the song on the Deep Indie Songwriters playlist. Follow the links below the video to connect with David Munoz. The devoutly Christian artist is currently working on new Gospel music. Get on his socials and get in the loop on all of the current and future projects from this talented singer/songwriter.

PRODU Opinion Brands and agencies need Indies, not freelancers

“There are two ways of looking at independent strategic talent: one that is wrong and one that can help us transform the world,” wrote Rocio F. Brusseau, co-founder, and CSO, OVERFLOW - “Indies” Strategist Accelerator, in the new PRODU Opinion column titled “Don't call me a freelancer, call me Indie”.

Brands and agencies "tend to look for freelancers when they are overworked," she explained, but this term - which originated to call a soldier without a flag or a "mercenary" - does not cover this independent strategic talent. For Brusseau, the right way to call this talent is "Indies."

She defines Indies "as the thinkers and creators who decided one day to leave aside the corporate mainstream to exercise their creative freedom of thought" in the areas of marketing, innovation, design, and communications. And she concludes that these are the ones that will really benefit brands and agencies with their independent performance.
