Vevo, the world’s leading music video network, today released Lola Indigo’s first performance in her LIFT series, “Tamagochi.” Vevo’s first LIFT artist of 2022, Lola’s videos are also the first Vevo LIFT content ever shot in Spain, and Lola’s first ever live content.

Vevo’s LIFT programme connects today’s up-and-coming and most relevant artists to audiences around the world  through music video content. Launched in 2011, Vevo's artist development program shines a spotlight on the world's freshest new talent. Vevo LIFT alumni include the likes of Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat, Halsey, Khalid, Jorja Smith, Mahmood, and more.

“We’re delighted to kick off 2022’s LIFT program with Lola Indigo,” says Claudia de Wolff, Vice President, C&P, EU. “Lola is a high-energy, creative powerhouse, already well established in Spain - we are excited to introduce her to our global audience. We’re so proud of how these videos turned out, and are so excited to finally be able to share them with her fans!”

Vevo worked closely with Lola Indigo to take a traditional Spanish Laundrette and transform it into a pop power house for “Tamagochi.” The aim was to create a space that Lola and her dancers can totally own, with the vibrant aesthetics creating a truly one-of-a-kind set that got the cheerful mood in full swing.

Lola Indigo is the alter ego and stage name of Miriam Doblas Muñoz. Starting her professional career as a dancer, Lola honed her skills training under the choreographers for Beyonce, Nicki Minaj and Jennifer Lopez. Since her musical debut on OperaciĂ³n Triunfo in 2017, her career has been on the rise, earning 12 Platinum records, one Gold record, and having her debut album Akelarre become the best national debut to date in both streaming and physical sales in Spain. Additionally, Lola won a 2019 EMA for Best Spanish Artist and the Los40 Music Award for “Best New Artist.”

2021 saw Lola co-host the prime time Spanish version of “The Dancer”, as well as release her new album, La Niña, through Universal Music Spain, with stand-out track “Niña De La Escuela” feat. TINI and Belinda remaining at #1 in Spain for 5 consecutive weeks. . With collaborations with artists such as Danna Paola, Rauw Alejandro, Denise Rosenthal, Maria Becerra, Tini, Guaynaa, Cauty, Mala Rodriguez, Aitana, Lalo Ebratt, RVFV, Khea, Beret and more, Lola Indigo is undoubtedly one of the most promising artists of her generation.

Cypress Hill Announces New Album and "Bye Bye" feat. Dizzy Wright

Cypress Hill
has returned with their tenth studio album, Back In Black, produced entirely by Black Milk and due March 18, 2022 via MNRK. To ring in the announcement, the group has shared new single "Bye Bye," featuring a standout verse from rapper Dizzy Wright -- listen and pre-order Back In Black HERE. The new track comes on the heels of the announcement of the band's extensive slate of touring for the year, including a leg of Slipknot's Knotfest Roadshow 2022. Find all announced tour dates below. In yet another monumental move, the group has announced a brand-new documentary titled Insane In The Brain: Cypress Hill, which will be released this spring.

"In Cypress Hill tradition, we always try to make a dark song," Cypress Hill's B Real says about "Bye Bye." "It’s what we’ve been known for, especially on our first three albums. This song is a statement. In a roundabout way, we spoke to the politics of today. Being lulled into this dreamworld by the government. Trying to blind us from the separation that they created, to put us to sleep while they do whatever they want."

"Bye Bye" follows the 2021 release of album highlights “Open Ya Mind” and “Champion Sound." Back in Black is Cypress Hill's first full length since 2018’s Elephants on Acid, and comes at an already busy time for the band. Cypress Hill recently wrapped a co-headline tour with Atmosphere, and celebrated the 30th anniversary of their groundbreaking self-titled debut album with a sold-out show at LA's Greek Theatre and an expanded anniversary edition reissue of their critically acclaimed debut. The band recently partnered with Z2 Comics for their very own original graphic novel, Cypress Hill: Tres Equis! which is out now. In addition to launching their own NFT collection at the end of 2021 -- which sold out of "legendaries" and "rares" and will see a Back In Black collection dropping in March -- the band also launched their own STANCE sock.

Deived "Said Goodbye" to Puerto Rico in New Single

Holy Mofongo! It’s Deived Motherfungerz.

"Said Goodbye" was initially created in 2010 with an acoustic guitar, a broken heart and some bad lyrics. "After Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico, I Said Goodbye to the Island that gave me amazing memories and decided to finish the song," says Deived. "This song evolved into a song about moving forward in life. It is about appreciating the past while taking permission to move forward, even for bigger and better things. It’s about not letting the past hold you back so that you can celebrate love and life as it happens. While it may have stemmed from a relationship that wasn’t meant to be, it has really come to represent all the moments that come and go."

The Mark Williams Debuts "Latina Girl"

Latina Girl is a salute to the wonderful ladies of Spanish decent around the world.
The song was inspired from the experiences Singer, Songwriter The Mark Williams has had through out the years of traveling the world. Latina women have a spirit and beauty. He doesn't think they're praised as often as they deserve. "Latina women are Smart, Sassy and Beautiful and I thought a sweet love song dedicated to them was needed and sung in English," he says.

"When I was writing the lyrics there's a line I added to let people know how smart they are and I came up with the line "smart as AOC" which was a nod to New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez who is both smart and beautiful. I also use words that make a woman feel as though she is being courted by a spiritual man. I think "Latina Girl" is a song that can be a standard for years to come."
